Q: Why should I hire a Travel Advisor?
A: Planning travel can be time-consuming, stressful, and overwhelming. On average it can take someone 10-20+ hours to plan a vacation. We will take the load and stress off of you and make the travel planning process easy. We simply want you to pack your bags & go!

Q: What can I expect when working with a Travel Advisor?
A: You start with complimentary consultation that includes questions to help us create the ideal vacation. Then we will present a custom trip proposal, make any revisions and discuss payment plan options, if available. Once the trip is booked, we will continue to manage the booking and provide customer service support until you return home.

Q: What types of travel do you plan?
A: We have experience with Solo Travel, Romantic Getaways, Group Travel, Wellness & Spa Retreats, All-Inclusive Resorts, Honeymoons, Cruises and more.

Q: Where can you plan trips to?
A: We love planning trips to hidden gems in select U.S. destinations and international destinations. We do not plan trips to Disney World but we do book Disney Cruises & family vacations.

Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Payment plans and low deposits are available depending on the destination and how far in advance you are planning your trip. Start planning 6-12 months in advance so you can pay on your trip over time.

Q: What additional perks do you offer?
A: Each guest will receive a travel package in the mail including a custom itinerary & a small gift. We add a personal touch if you’re celebrating a special occasion or need help presenting a surprise trip!

Q: What type of travel planning packages do you offer?
A: Wanderlust starts at $149 for travelers looking to explore select U.S. destinations, International Destinations or a cruise.

Any other services or larger groups may be an additional price. Please inquire for more information.

Q: Is there a minimum budget required?
A: To ensure each guest has an enjoyable vacation, we book 4–5-star properties. If you need roundtrip flights, accommodations, activities/tours, transportation and optional travel insurance, a minimum budget of $1500 per person is required. This budget may need to increase depending on the destination and other factors such as the time of year you want to travel.

Q: Why do you charge a planning fee?
A: Each trip is custom-designed, and we spend considerable time researching, planning, and working out your travel needs. You hire us to work for you, not travel suppliers and we keep your best interest in mind. We limit the number of new clients we work with each month to ensure you get the attention you deserve. We enjoy working with travelers who genuinely appreciate our help and we look forward to building a positive business relationship. The professional services retainer must be paid before starting the planning process and it is separate from the cost of the trip.

Q: When can I expect the trip quote?
A: Please allow 5-7 business days or more depending on the destination/time of year. Schedule a follow-up call to go over the trip quote.

Q: Do you book last minute vacations?
A: Your dates of travel need to be at least 6 weeks out so we have time to establish a business relationship and curate an amazing vacation experience for you.

Q: Can you help me find a deal?
A: We have access to great deals daily but we focus on providing the best value, which is not always the lowest price. We also work with our travel partners, such as Virtuoso, the leading global network specializing in luxury travel, to extend benefits and additional perks when available.

Q: I want to stay at an all-inclusive resort. Where are they located?
A: There are no true all-inclusive resorts in the U.S. including Hawaii. All-inclusive resorts are mainly located in Mexico & the Caribbean. There are a few sprinkled throughout the world but they are not as common abroad.

Q: Do you break down package pricing?
A: We do not break down package pricing. Trip packages are put together to give you the best price and value for your vacation. The vendors negotiate rates with different hotels, transfer companies and tour operators that are often lower than published rates. If the total quote is over budget, we can adjust the itinerary for you. If having a breakdown is important to you, please let us know up front.
